If your taking it in CA. I suggest you do it at EMSTI. they have a great skills prep and they test monthly. As for the written all I can say is study study study and study. and when you think you can't study any more take a rest then hit the books again. the first time I took it I scored 80's in all but fail medical so I still had to retest,all because I took it easy a few weeks befor the test. The ends will justify the means when you hold that card in your hand. good luck
