I applied as well, but have not heard anything. They opened this position because of the committment to its customers to have a 48 hr turnaround on inspections, and because of the amount of new homes going up, they are getting behind that goal and thus are hiring part time inspectors to get them caught up. Other than that, dont know much about what they are looking for or what exactly the job will consist of, but feel that it would be some good experience for a decent wage.
