or Hi, my name is Eric Costello and I currently have ALL other certs expect for my CDF 67 hr wildland academy cert. I have been trying like crazy to find a school in California that has one but I keep coming up empty handed! If you could just point me in the right direction as to where or who might know of a CDF 67 hr wildland cert course- it would be very much appreciated!!

I have contacted them and I never can get a straight answer so I thought that I would try here...
Eric,
If hired as a FFI for CDF some units will actually put you through the 67 hour certification prior to getting on an engine(and pay you while in their academy). Lassen-Modoc does it every year. I know its a bit of a drive for you but a good way to get some experience.

You should contact your local CDF unit headquarters and talk to training or hiring. They should be able to help you.
