drug felony

my boyfriend wants to be a firefighter but a has drug felony for being cought with the date rape drug he did his time and regrets it is their still a possibility that he can be a firefighter and do his do his dream job or should he choose a diffrent profession!!!

Unfortunately it would be very difficult if not impossible to pass the background investigation with this type of conviction on his record. He will probably have to discuss it in his interview as well, as most job applications have a box to check that says "have you ever been convicted of a felony?"

This type of topic has come up in the open forum bulletin board several times. Do a search in the open forum for some advice.
