what should i do if the next day following a workout my whole body is sore. should i continue the work out the following day?

Your muscles are sore because they are absorbing amino acids. You need to drink lot of water and after your work outs drink a whey protien shake. You muscles are looking for protien to rebuild. Take this and you will not be that sore again.

Drink more water the night before. You can take supplements like zma and glutamine as well, to help with the recovery process. I mix glutamine in with a protein shake after I work out and I do fine the next day. Continue the work out if you're sore but not if you're hurting. Hurting yourself is counterproductive. Being sore means your workout is doing something, keep after it.
