My name is sgt.roussell i am in the United States Marine Corps.I also wanted to be a firefighter even before i joined the Marine Corps. My question is there a fire department that would hire someone before they are discharged from the military? If they could take leave and do the test and the other things that are required.The reason is I have a family and once I am discharged there is no more money coming in.That means there is a big problem.My family comes first first but this is something I always wanted.My contract end April 12,2003 after 8 years in the corps this is a big step for me.
