I currently work with at-risk and low-income youth in Arizona and I have a young-man that is interested in becoming a firefighter. He currently has a class 6 felony on his record. I was wondering if it is still possible for him to become a firefighter with this on his record. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!!!

Probably not. There is so much competition why would a department hire a candidate with a felony conviction. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Ultimately it is up to the Department that hires.
